Donaldson Company, Inc. (NYSE: DCI), announced today that it has
appointed Sheila C. Peyraud as Vice President and Chief Technology
Officer, effective December 17th. Peyraud is replacing Debra
Wilfong, who resigned for a senior position with British Petroleum.
Peyraud, 57, first joined Donaldson in 1978 and for the first ten years
held a number of roles in Corporate Technology. Of particular note is
the patent she received for the development of Pleatloc, a technology
which is still widely used today. Following her roles in Corporate
Technology, she held leadership positions in Special Applications and
Industrial Filtration Solutions, before assuming her current role as
General Manager of our Aerospace and Defense business in 2004. Peyraud
earned a B.U.S. degree from the University of New Mexico and an MBA from
the University of St. Thomas.
"Sheila brings a deep understanding of our business and products, as
well as strong leadership skills to her new responsibilities," said
Charlie McMurray, Donaldson's Senior Vice President and Chief
Administrative Officer. "Sheila's previous experiences in Corporate
Technology and in growing a number of our businesses uniquely position
her to lead a talented Corporate Technology team and continue the great
progress we have made in developing and deploying our industry-leading
technologies. In this role, Sheila will be focusing her team on
maintaining our air filtration technology and product leadership,
achieving technology leadership in fuel filtration, establishing local
laboratories to support Customers in key locations, and enhancing global
intellectual property practices to protect key technologies and
products."
