Amy C. Becker, Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Amy Becker, Donaldson Company Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, joined the company in 1998 as Sr. Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary before assuming the role of Assistant General Counsel in 2001, and her current role in 2014. Amy is responsible for developing and directing Donaldson’s global legal strategy, and leading the company’s intellectual property, litigation and compliance functions. Prior to joining Donaldson, Amy was an attorney for Dorsey and Whitney, LLP and served as Project Manager and Corporate Counsel for Harmon Ltd. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration, as well as MBA and JD degrees from the University of South Dakota. She serves on the Vikings Women’s Advisory Board.

Jacquie L. Boyer, Vice President, Global OEM Sales

Jacquie Boyer is Donaldson Company Vice President for Global Engine Original Equipment Manufacturing Sales. She joined the company in 2017 and is responsible for developing and executing the global OEM sales strategy, leading the global OEM team, and acquiring new business through providing outstanding customer experience and a strong portfolio of filtration technology. Jacquie previously served as VP, Global Sales and Marketing at Stanadyne L.L.C., and her experience also includes leading sales, marketing and business development teams at General Electric, United Technologies and Tyco Electronics. She has a bachelor’s degree in business and psychology from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls.

Guillermo Briseño, Vice President, Latin America

Guillermo Briseño is Donaldson Company Vice President, Latin America, a role he has held since 2014. His Donaldson career began in Latin America in 2003 as Industrial Air Filtration District Manager. Since then, he has held positions of increasing responsibility, including the role of Industrial Filtration Solutions Business Manager, Industrial Sales Director and Managing Director. Prior to joining Donaldson, Guillermo held positions at Vellum, S.A. de C.V. and Plateros Immobiliaria, S.A. de C.V. He has a bachelor’s degree in architecture and science from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and an MBA from Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.

Tod E. Carpenter, Chairman, President and Chief Executive officer

Tod Carpenter is Chairman, President and CEO of Donaldson Company. Since joining the company in 1996 as Director of Operations in the Gas Turbine Systems business, he has held several operations, sales and management positions in the United States and Europe, including the role of COO before being chosen President and CEO in 2015. He was appointed to the Donaldson Board of Directors in 2014 and was named Chairman of the Board three years later. Prior to Donaldson, Tod spent 13 years at Hughes Aircraft Company and was a consultant at York & Associates. He serves on the AMETEK Inc. Board of Directors, the Minnesota Business Partnership Board of Directors and the Board of Overseers of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He has a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing technology from Indiana State University and an MBA from Long Beach State University.

Andrew C. Dahlgren, Vice President, Asia Pacific

Andrew Dahlgren, Donaldson Company Vice President, Gas Turbine Systems and Special Applications, has served in several capacities since joining the company in 1994. Prior to assuming his current role in 2018, Andrew garnered a variety of experience across the organization: he began his Donaldson career as an Applications Engineer and subsequent roles included Engineering Manager, Asia Pacific; General Manager, Engine Air; and General Manager, GTS, among others. Andrew has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.

Kathryn L. Freytag, Vice President, Chief Information Officer

Kathryn Freytag is Vice President and CIO at Donaldson Company. She joined the company in January 2017, bringing more than 20 years of experience with Fortune 100 companies leading global IT organizations and delivering strategic technology initiatives. Prior to Donaldson, she spent six years with Honeywell International, where she was VP and CIO for Building Solutions and then Enterprise Systems & Solutions. Kathryn also held technology leadership positions at Stratsys, Medica, American Express, and Wells Fargo & Company. Kathryn has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Iona College and an MBA in information systems from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. She chairs the governing body of Minneapolis CIO Executive Summit; sits on the Hennepin County IT Advisory Board; and serves on the Board of Directors for NuWay and WithAll.

Timothy H. Grafe, Vice President, New Business Development

Tim Grafe, Donaldson Company Vice President, New Business Development, a role he has held since 2013. His Donaldson career began in 1990 as an Engineer. Since then, he has served in a wide variety of roles across the organization, including Product Manager; Sales and Marketing Manager; Engineering Manager; Director of Financial Operations; and Global Director of Business and Product Development. Tim has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Valparaiso University and an MBA from the University of Minnesota. He serves on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of the Upper of Midwest.

Sheila G. Kramer, Vice President, Human Resources

Sheila Kramer is Donaldson Company Vice President, Human Resources. She joined the company in 2015 and is responsible for developing and delivering talent-focused solutions that empower and engage Donaldson’s outstanding people. Sheila is an accomplished business leader and HR professional. Prior to joining Donaldson, she was VP of Human Resources with Taylor Corporation and held a variety of HR roles during her 21-year career with Lifetouch Inc. (now Shutterfly Inc.), including HR Manager, HR Director-Sales, and HR Vice President. Sheila has an MAIR (Master of Industrial Relations) from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.

Richard B. Lewis, Senior Vice President, Global Operations

Rich Lewis is Donaldson Company Senior Vice President, Global Operations, having assumed the role in 2018. His responsibilities span operations in 25 countries and include global supply chain, logistics, EHS, sustainability, manufacturing, quality and operational excellence. Rich joined Donaldson in 2002 as Operations Manager in Frankfort, Indiana, and later served as Plant Manager for Frankfort and Nicholasville, Kentucky. He then moved to the role of Director, Operations, before becoming General Manager, first of Liquid Filtration and later of Operations before assuming the VP, Global Operations position in 2015. Prior to Donaldson, Rich held management roles at Seleco Inc. and Ventra Corporation. He has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Louisville and an MBA from Indiana University.

Roger J. Miller, Vice President, Global Engine Aftermarket

Roger Miller is Donaldson Company Vice President, Global Engine Aftermarket, a role he has held since 2017. His Donaldson career began in 1997 as a Senior Human Resources Generalist. Since then, he has held various leadership positions across the global organization, including Plant Manager (Port Huron- Michigan, Cresco- Iowa, and Hull- England); Director, Industrial Air Filtration Aftermarket Sales; Director, North America Compressed Air & Gas; Managing Director, Australasia; and Vice President Global Engine OEM Sales. Prior to joining Donaldson, Roger held HR management roles at Osmonics Inc. and National Castings Inc. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Illinois.

Scott J. Robinson, Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Scott Robinson, Donaldson Company Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, leads Donaldson’s global IT and finance functions, including internal and external reporting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, investor relations and corporate communications. Robinson joined the company in 2015 with a diverse set of public accounting and corporate finance experience, including 11 years with Imation Corp. where he last served as CFO. Scott also held finance leadership positions at Deluxe Corporation and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Robinson sits on the Finance and Investment Committees as a member of Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare Board of Directors.  A Certified Public Accountant, Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Cloud State University. An alumnus of Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.

Thomas R. Scalf, Senior Vice President, Engine Products

Tom Scalf, Donaldson Company Senior Vice President, Engine Products, joined the company in 1989 as a Manufacturing Engineer. Since then, he has held various positions of increasing responsibility across the company’s global operations, including Manufacturing Engineering Manager; Plant Manager for both the Dixon, Illinois, and Leicester, U.K, manufacturing facilities; Manager, Site Integration in Leicester, U.K.; Director, Operations; General Manager of both Exhaust Emissions and IFS Americas; and Vice President, Global Industrial Air Filtration. Tom was named to his present position in 2014. He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Iowa State University, an MBA from St. Ambrose College. An alumnus of Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.

Todd Smith, Vice President, Global IAF

Todd Smith is Donaldson Company Vice President, Global Industrial Air Filtration, responsible for leading global aftermarket and equipment sales growth for the company’s dust, fume and mist collection product families. He joined the company in 1997 as an Account Manager in the Original Equipment Manufacturing Engine business. Since that time, he has held sales and management positions in both the United States and Belgium and across a wide range of businesses, including Aerospace, Compressed Air, Defense, Industrial Air, Industrial Hydraulics, Marine, On-road, Off-road and Process Filtration before assuming his present role in 2017. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Dakota and an MA from Emerson College.

Jeffrey E. Spethmann, Senior Vice President, Industrial Products

Jeff Spethmann, Donaldson Company Senior Vice President, Industrial Products, is responsible for leading the global strategy and execution within the organization’s Industrial group, which includes industrial filtration solutions, gas turbine systems and special applications. His Donaldson career began in 1988 as High Purity Products Engineer, then progressed to Disk Drive Engineering Manager, and Tetratec® Director of Technology and Operations before leaving in 1999 to become General Manager and later President of Blow Molded Specialties. In 2011, Jeff assumed the role of President and CEO for Waltek Inc. Two years later he returned to Donaldson as VP, Exhaust and Emissions. In 2014, he was named VP, Global Industrial Air Filtration, before assuming his current role in 2016. Jeff has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.

Wim J. V. Vermeersch, Vice President, Europe, Middle East and Africa

Wim Vermeersch is Donaldson Company Vice President, Europe, Middle East and Africa, having assumed the role in 2014. His Donaldson career began in 1991 as a Torit® Sales Engineer, with responsibility for Belgium and Luxembourg. Since that time, he has held a variety of management positions within the Industrial and Engine businesses in Europe and Asia Pacific. Prior to Donaldson, Wim held sales roles at Reynolds Chemicals and Mannesmann Carnoy. He has a master’s degree in electromechanical engineering from KIHO, Ghent and a master’s degree in business management from EHSAL Management School, Brussels.

Michael Wynblatt, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Michael Wynblatt, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Donaldson Company has more than 20 years of experience in innovation and the commercialization of new technologies and ideas. He leads the technology strategy for the enterprise, as well as the centralized engineering teams. Prior to joining Donaldson, Michael was VP of Innovation and Emerging Technology at Ingersoll Rand, VP of the Innovation Center at Eaton Corporation, and VP and CTO at Siemens Technology-to-Business Center, which he co-founded. He has a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Michigan, as well as MS and PhD degrees in computer science from Stony Brook University.
