Tod Carpenter is Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. He joined the Board of Directors in 2014 and was named Chairman in 2018. Tod began his career at Donaldson in 1996 as Director of Operations in the Gas Turbine Systems business and went on to hold a range of senior operations, sales, and management roles in the United States and Europe, including Chief Operating Officer. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer from 2015 to 2026 before transitioning to Executive Chairman in March 2026. He serves on the AMETEK Inc. (NYSE: AME) Board of Directors, the Minnesota Business Partnership Board of Directors, and the Board of Overseers of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He has a bachelor's degree in manufacturing technology from Indiana State University and an MBA from Long Beach State University.
