MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Donaldson Company, Inc. (NYSE:DCI) today announced the promotion of
Jeffrey E. Spethmann to senior vice president, Industrial Products,
effective April 4, 2016. In this role, Spethmann will be responsible for
leading the global strategy and execution within Donaldson’s Industrial
segment, which includes Industrial Filtration Solutions, Gas Turbine
Systems and Special Applications. He will report to Tod Carpenter,
president and chief executive officer.
“Jeff is a well-respected leader within our company, and he has built on
his track record of success by improving alignment across the globe in
our Industrial Air Filtration business,” said Carpenter. “I am pleased
to further leverage his deep technical and operational experience, which
includes a total of 14 years with Donaldson.”
Spethmann, 51, is currently the vice president of Donaldson’s global
Industrial Air Filtration business. Before taking that role in 2014, he
was vice president for the Company’s exhaust and emissions business
after re-joining Donaldson in 2013. Beyond his recent experience at
Donaldson, Spethmann had worked at the Company for 11 years in a variety
of engineering and leadership positions, and he also held a leadership
position for two other manufacturing companies. He holds a bachelor’s
degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota
Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in business administration
from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
