15 December, 2015

MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 15, 2015-- Donaldson Company, Inc. (NYSE: DCI), a leading worldwide manufacturer of filtration systems and parts, recently presented its Company’s Chairman’s Cup Award to its Indiana manufacturing facilities in Frankfort and Monticello.

Every quarter, Donaldson Company evaluates 20 of its manufacturing operations and distribution centers in the Americas. Performance is measured in six key areas including employee safety, customer quality, and customer delivery. Based on these critically important metrics, one operation is presented with the award to recognize the best performance. Plant Manager Kevin Brinson and his combined teams in Frankfort and Monticello won the Cup in Donaldson’s first fiscal quarter of 2016.

The Frankfort and Monticello facilities are 185,000 and 50,000 square feet respectively and manufacture heavy duty air filters and related plastic components for the construction, mining, agriculture, transportation, and industrial markets. The first Donaldson operation in Indiana started in 1980 and the Company currently employs a total of 386 people in Frankfort and Monticello.

Last week, Donaldson’s Chairman, Bill Cook, and Vice President of Human Resources, Sheila Kramer had the honor of presenting the Chairman’s Cup to the Frankfort and Monticello plant employees. Cook commented, “This is the 8th time that we have awarded the Chairman’s Cup to Frankfort and Monticello which is more than we have awarded any of our other operations. Their strong focus on our Customers, incredible teamwork, and commitment each and every day are the backbone of our Company’s success. I congratulate the entire team on their tremendous achievement.”
