MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Donaldson Company, Inc. (NYSE:DCI) announced that Paul David Miller,
Admiral, United States Navy (Retired), retired from its Board of
Directors effective at the conclusion of the Company’s December 22
Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Admiral Miller, 73, was ineligible to
stand for reelection to the Donaldson Board of Directors due to having
reached the Board’s mandatory retirement age.
“Admiral Miller joined our Board in 2001, and has served with
distinction during his tenure, including service on both our Audit and
Corporate Governance Committees,” said Bill Cook, Donaldson’s chairman.
“He provided strong leadership and guidance to me and the rest of our
Board, reinforced by insights he gained throughout his career. Our
company’s Board of Directors, employees, and shareholders have greatly

Admiral Miller served as chairman and chief executive officer of Alliant
Techsystems, Inc. (ATK) following his distinguished 30-year career in
the U.S. Navy, which included Commander-in-Chief, U.S. Atlantic Command
and NATO Supreme Allied Commander – Atlantic. He has also served on the
Boards of other public companies, including Teledyne Technologies and
Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc.
