Donaldson Recognized as 20-Year Minnesota Keystone Participant

February 1, 2012

Donaldson Company (NYSE:DCI) is pleased to announce that the Company was recently recognized by the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce for 20 years of participation in the Minnesota Keystone Program, which recognizes and honors companies that donate at least two percent of their pre-tax earnings to the community.

"Minnesota is consistently ranked nationally as a leader in corporate giving and volunteerism," said Todd Klingel, President and CEO, Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce. "Donaldson Company and the nearly 200 Minnesota Keystone members make an incredible difference in their communities. Since joining the program in 1991, Donaldson, through the Donaldson Foundation, has contributed more than $15 million – with more than $900,000 in the last year.

"We greatly appreciate being recognized as a 20-year participant in the Minnesota Keystone Program," said Bill Cook, Chairman, President and CEO at Donaldson Company. "The Keystone Program embodies the same wonderful principles of community giving and corporate social responsibility that our employees support through our Donaldson Foundation. Our Company has been fortunate to produce record-breaking financial results over the past two decades and we are committed to giving back a portion of these earnings to support educational initiatives in our communities. We look forward to our continued participation in the Minnesota Keystone Program and deeply appreciate the ongoing contributions of our employees, which affords us the opportunity to participate in this very worthwhile program."
