DONALDSON COMPANY SELLS ULTRACOOL CHILLER BUSINESS

MINNEAPOLIS (January 24, 2011)-- Donaldson Company, Inc. (NYSE:DCI) announced today the sale of its Ultracool chiller business, based in Terrassa, Spain, to LAUDA. LAUDA, based in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany, is the global leader in the manufacture of innovative constant temperature control equipment. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

The Ultracool chiller business is part of Donaldson's Industrial Products segment and manufactures industrial circulation chillers for manufacturers of printing presses, injection molding equipment, laser processing machines, and sorting equipment. The business had sales of approximately €8 million (US$11 million) in fiscal 2010. The sale will not have a material impact on Donaldson's fiscal 2011 second quarter or full-year results.
