MINNEAPOLIS, MN (Sept. 21, 2007) — Donaldson Company, Inc. (NYSE:DCI) announced today that its South African subsidiary acquired the assets of Rawsen Equipment (Proprietary) Limited, a privately held company headquartered in Cape Town, South Africa, effective June 1, 2007. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Rawsen manufactures and distributes a wide range of filtration products for compressed air and gas applications.
"The acquisition of Rawsen creates a complete product line offering to the compressed air and gas industry in South Africa," said Mike Parfitt, Managing Director for Sub-Saharan Africa. "We will integrate our existing Donaldson Ultrafilter product line into that of Rawsen's to provide a strong range of compressed air and gas purification products for our South African customers."
