FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 14 — Continuing in its ability to develop innovative air filtration systems, Donaldson Company, Inc. is introducing Donaldson TopSpin™, a self-cleaning air intake system pre-cleaner. Donaldson TopSpin, now available in 4 models, extends air filter life and boosts overall system efficiency and performance by automatically separating and discarding contaminants and debris before they meet the primary air filter. Donaldson Company, Inc., a leading manufacturer of filtration systems and replacement parts, continues to develop products like Donaldson TopSpin to keep pace with rapid changes in vehicle operating requirements.

Donaldson TopSpin air intake system pre-cleaners separate up to 99 percent of large debris and 85 percent of coarse air contaminants — among the best efficiency in the market — reducing engine wear and overall operating costs. The Donaldson TopSpin air intake system pre-cleaner meets OEM size and performance requirements while its aerodynamic propeller design delivers quiet operation. The pre-cleaner's translucent housing enables visual confirmation of separation effectiveness and its metal-free body and durable construction tolerates all types of operating environments including moisture, allowing it to perform well in rain, snow and heavy dust conditions.

"Maximizing equipment protection, while minimizing the need for regular service required an optimized intake system design," said Marty Barris, director of air filtration applications and development, Donaldson Company. "TopSpin delivers superior separation capability, with the lowest restriction, resulting in extended air intake service intervals, less engine wear and lower equipment life-cycle costs."
